Lupos Global has a requirement for an EASA B1 and B2 + C Expert Engineer to be based in Teruel, Spain Starting ASAP.
This is a Permanent position.
Description of Position:
The technical expert is the technical and quality support for the team leader. Observes the tasks performed by mechanics and technicians at maintenance sites, probes and intervenes, if necessary, in order to validate the work done and be able to sign the work cards.
Main responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and planning of operations.
- Participate in the preparation of requests for quotations (chargeback and/or additional requests).
- Participate in client advancement meetings at the request of the Project Manager.
- Identify the resources and skills needed and develop versatility.
- Replace team leader if needed.
- Raise awareness among employees and third parties so that health and safety standards are understood and integrated into work practices.
- Identify areas for technical improvement of production personnel.
- Advise and transmit knowledge to production staff.
- Follow the execution plans transmitted by the Project Manager (rates, deadlines)
- Assist the Project Manager on request to negotiate technical points with the client.
- Provide technical solutions commensurate with their skills/experiences.
- Report any observed anomalies (NRCs) and propose technical solutions in accordance with the manufacturer's documentation in agreement with the Team Leader.
- Ensure a perfect follow-up of working documents (including the signing and validation of the tasks performed)
- Ensure the match between human resources, skills and versatility.
- Ensure that all maintenance/storage/recycling activities, including defect correction, are carried out in accordance with approved data and in accordance with organisational procedures as well as EASA/FAA rules and requirements.
- Ensure control of area closure and assembly.
- Perform ground verification, execution and endoscopy operations.
- Inspect the aircraft prior to departure.
- Perform tasks of all specialties to support production teams when needed (peak activity, additional field experience, etc.)
- Prepare incident and failure reports.
Skills and Experience Required:
EASA Licence Part 66 B1.1/B1.2/B2/C
Type Rating on one or more of the following Types:
B747 (PW4000/RB211)
B767 (CF6-80/PW4000)
B777 (GE90/PW4000/TRENT 800)
Experience of 10 years as Certifying Staff
Full time position:
Monday to Friday -Flexible working
